THE ART OF THE METHOD

I am a Theatre Educator and Performer with more than 25 years of experience exploring how tradition, technology, and human presence intersect on the contemporary stage. Trained in the discipline of the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing under Zhao Yongbin and in the precision of Active Analysis with Vladimir Bouchler, my artistic path has been shaped by a continuous search for embodied clarity and creative authenticity.

This search has led me to develop The Willow Method — a pedagogical approach that unites Eastern mastery, Western analytical tools, and modern improvisational techniques into a coherent training system. Inspired by the resilience of the willow tree, the method teaches performers to cultivate deep grounding while remaining flexible, adaptive, and open to the unexpected. Whether working with VR‑enhanced exercises or classical text, my focus is on training actors who can transform their daily experience into expressive truth, and who possess the sensitivity, precision, and imaginative strength required by the modern stage.

LUDI Club was a creative private laboratory where I combined theatre play, improvisation, and pioneering VR pedagogy to help young people explore confidence, spontaneity, and their own personal timbre. Working as facilitator, coordinator, curator, and documentarian, I guided the group through a process that grew into a supportive creative community and even inspired a small exhibition at the local museum.

My Theatre Projects in Public Education

Over three years of institutional teaching, I created three large-scale theatre projects — two of them developed within one of Romania’s oldest National Colleges — guiding students through a rigorous process that blended ensemble work, movement, and creative authorship. Alongside these productions, I led my groups to national festivals and developed a two‑edition high‑school theatre festival, turning pedagogical practice into a space of shared creation and public celebration.
